As you might be aware V2 is extremely close.

These are new proposed grouping changes coming to Infestation:

2 players meet in an area. They spot each other and utilize chat / voice coms to relay their interest in grouping.

Player 1 sends player 2 a group invite.

Player 2 now accepts invite.

Player 1 and Player 2 can no longer deal damage to each other while grouped.

Players 1 and 2 work together and loot and have a good time.

Player 1 and 2 meet a player 3 and shoot him a bit. They realize they cannot kill each other because they are both behind walls and opt to work together instead. Player 1 sends player 3 a group invite.

Player 3 takes a group invite from player 1.

All 3 players can no longer injure eachother because they are grouped.

Players 1 2 and 3 all have a fantastic time. Player 2 announces he must leave. He then hits leave group.

A message is sent to all players in the group announcing that Player 2 has opted to leave the group. A timer of 30 seconds will be shown for when the players group will be dropped. After these 30 seconds, player 1 and 3 can shoot player 2 and vice versa.

The group leader CAN kick players from the group. It announces a 30 second timer just like leaving the group.

This does not apply to clans. You still have to invite a clan member to your group.

Grenade damage will STILL injure group mates. YOU CAN KILL GROUP MEMBERS WITH GRENADES. BEWARE.

Let me know your thoughts and ways you think this could be exploited. Make sure to read my post thoroughly as well so you fully understand how this grouping mechanic works. The idea is to encourage group play with strangers by providing protection to the players grouping. If a player wants to grief them and chase them hugging them til the group drops, a player in the group can realize this and choose to log out to avoid potentially being griefed before they go "red" again.
